“Hugh Cotton wore a duck-green doublet with the sleeves slashed to show the yellow silk lining, whereas John Symes favoured sky blue and a cocked hat to match. Gabriel’s bright red cloak was slung over his shoulder and Solomon wore his customary red and yellow comedian’s suit, next to which Ben’s maroon doublet and baggy breeches appeared quite plain. Â Only Will, in his shirtsleeves, looked ordinary.”

Over the last few weeks we have been reading Charlotte’s Web which is a book about a pig called Wibur that has a friend called Charlotte (who is a spider!). Â Wibur is going to die however we think that Charlotte is going to save him. Â Have you read this book? (But don’t tell us what happens.)
